Information gathered

Network address (IP) plus the approximate place it suggests, never finer than a town or region.
The user-agent string — which browser, which sort of device, which language.
Pages opened and outbound clicks, only when analytics is allowed.
Anything you send the desk — name, reply address, topic and note — through the form or by plain email.
The cookie decision itself, saved locally on your device.

Purposes and legal grounds

Offrageo uses these details to serve and protect the pages, to see which entries readers find helpful (analytics, consent required), to allow partner networks to credit bookings referred from here (marketing, consent required) and to reply when you write. We rely on your consent, on a legitimate interest in keeping the site stable and safe, and on handling requests you start yourself.

Hosting and anti-abuse services handle technical logs on our behalf. With advertising/affiliate cookies accepted, partner and affiliate networks receive click references so a resulting booking can be matched to offrageo. Analytics vendors receive usage figures only where analytics is switched on. Offrageo never trades personal data for cash. A few recipients operate in other countries; where required, transfers rest on standard contractual clauses or comparable protection.

Retention

Raw server logs: no longer than 30 days. Analytics: aggregated, for no more than 14 months. Correspondence: for as long as the exchange lasts, then up to a further 12 months. The cookie decision: on your device until you wipe or revise it.

Those readers can see what offrageo holds on them, fix inaccuracies, demand erasure, freeze further handling, or carry the records off in a machine-readable file. They can also push back against processing justified by our legitimate interest, cancel a consent they gave earlier at any moment, and lodge a grievance with their national data regulator. California rights (CCPA/CPRA)

Californians can learn which categories and specific items of personal information offrageo keeps on them, have such items wiped or amended, and instruct us never to sell them nor pass them along for cross-context behavioural advertising. Declining advertising cookies — or browsing with Global Privacy Control enabled — counts as that refusal on this site. Using any of these rights will never change the service you receive.

Minors

Offrageo addresses readers who are at least 18. It does not set out to gather information from younger people, and if a message from a minor reaches the desk we erase it once we notice or are told.
